Nostalgia, “the bittersweet longing for things, persons, or situations of the past”, according to Webster’s dictionary, is experienced by everyone worldwide. It evokes a sense of happiness, a feeling of warmth and even more, contrasting feelings, like the feeling of sadness. But, to what extent does art, poetry, music and etc,  provoke emotion? When one views an image, reads a poem, listens to a song, it is only a matter of time that one will embrace their past memories and recall both happiness and sadness. Human relations with family and friends is a common nostagic memory, and most importantly, childhood reminscences that evokes happiness but also gives a feeling of sadness because of "nostalgia."

Nostalgia holds the ability of bringing one back to the "good old days," warm memories, feeling of comfort...There will always be a day that one wishes to return back to a previous day in the past; the day in which stress and discomfort was irrelevant. Nostalgia is experienced all over the world, even if the word is different in other languages.
